What a GIANT Surprise

Not since Craig Vs. D-Bo have we witnessed a bigger upset as the entire sports world did tonight, standing off their chairs watching The New York Giants triumph over the undefeated New England Patriots, claiming the title of Super Bowl champions.



With critics and media ousting them all season, Super Bowl XLII seemed to be no different for The New York Giants as they headed into the N.F.L. Championship facing a dominating team that was 18-0 and whom where eagerly looking to get their hands on the coveted Lombardi trophy, securing their 19th straight win. With goliath like odds of mammoth proportions stacked against them, Eli and his boys entered into tonights Championship game cooler than a blowjob from a penguin.



Able to hold the Patriots within four going into the 4th, Eli's talent and poise were truely tested and on display. With fantastic defense and some great drives on offense, the G-Men showed New England they weren't about to hand over a victory as Eli connected with David Tryee to lead the game 10-7.



Unable to put points on the board and less than five minutes to play, New England looked to score big and did just that with Tom Brady hooking up with Randy Moss for a 6 yd T.D. pass putting the Pats up 14-10

With what seemed like the weight of all of New York on Eli's shoulders, number 10 walked to his huddle with less than 3 minutes to play. Leading his team up field with amazing 3rd down after 3rd down, Eli looked more like his brother Peyton rather then the QB the critics have long doomed to fail. With the clock winding down and and only 35 seconds left, a resilent New York squad led by Eli Manning stormed into New Englands 20 and with a beautiful 13 yard touchdown completion to Plaxico Burress they sealed their victory as Super Bowl XLII champions.



A remarkable beam of light has now shined on Eli Manning as the shadow of his brother and former Super Bowl MVP champ seems to be lifted for now. The Giants quarteback was awarded the honor of being named this years Super Bowl MVP. No doubt New Yorkers now have another reason to stand up and bump some more Sinatra. Congratulations NY!!
