Mr. West was in the building. His swagger, in the hundred thousand trillions. Uh Uh, You can't tell him nothin. Uh Uh, Wait... excuse me? Was you sayin somethin? Well apparently someone said something, because Kanye never uttered a single profane word throughout his entire performance Saturday night in Beijing. (They didn't even let him say Jesus)

In town for his "Glow In the Dark Tour" Kanye made history as the biggest name to hit the Capital, city thus far. His performance was rock solid! Unfortunately the sound was a bit off and the set up of the show was straight whack. It was the first seating only concert I have ever been to in my life. A very unusual concept! Literally everyone was seated. Including right in front of the stage where the were no more then 5o VIP seats. At one point... we were actually told by the group behind us to sit down because they couldn't see.

Aside from the pathetic fans and the fact that the venue didn't serve alcohol, dancing was not allowed. (I know, don't even try and make sense out of it) Thankfully not everyone conformed to the "no dancing" rule and by about mid way through the show a good majority of fans were on there feet bobbing along to the music. Except for of course the V.I.P.'s in front of the stage who were told by security to sit every time the stood up or tried to dance.

Tickets prices ranged from 180 rmb - 2,000 rmb (26$-300$) Aside from those who paid 300 bucks for floor seats (V.I.P.'s), the cost of one's ticket was basically irrelevant due to the stadium style seating. Un-fazed by the lack of audience participation the Louie Vuitton Don came real strong and finished equally as hard. The live band coupled with amazing visual elements was a nice touch! Definitely no Madison Square Garden show but all in all it was an experience that will surely not be forgotten.

A SAD DAY FOR THE JUSTICE SYTEM

The three cops who killed Sean Bell on his wedding day in a 50-bullet barrage were cleared of all charges today in a Queens Supreme Court.

The gun belonging to Detective Michael Oliver, who fired 31 times, stopping to reload. Oliver was acquitted of manslaughter, assault, and reckless endangerment.

Goonies 2

The excitement and anticipation builds among Gen-Xers when rumors of this project surfaced. The Goonies 2 seemingly promises to be every bit as engaging as its predecessor Goonies. The sequel will bring back most of the characters from the original including the Fratelli gang. The grown-up Mikey unites Mouth, Chunk, Data and the rest of the club for another adventure involving caverns, treasures, and good ole booby traps.

The script is written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci with development taking place at Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. Richard Donner directed The Goonies.

Notorious

The biopic Notorious looks at the life of the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. The film chronicles the struggles of the eventual rap mogul who grew up as Christopher Wallace. The film is directed by George Tillman Jr.. P. Diddy and B.I.G.’s mother Voletta Wallace will be producers of the film.

Akira

The classic 1988 Japanese anime film Akira will be adapted into a live-action feature. Akira is about a biker gang who must stop a buddy from using the superhuman powers he acquired from a government experiment. Ruairi Robinson is attached to direct the film produced by Appian Way.

G.I. J.O.E.

The Real American Heroes G.I. Joe will be turned into a live-action feature film. The toy soldiers debuted in 1964 and has since become a fixture in the American youth culture. The film will be derived from the cartoon and comics of the 1980s when they battled the terrorist organization COBRA.

Dragonball

The animated series Dragonball will be adapted into a live-action film. The action fantasy follows Goku and his friends as they battle evil forces to save Earth. Created by Akira Toryama, the Japanese hit series has been a huge worldwide sensation. Jame Wong will direct the Fox film.

A-TEAM

"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit....These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government,.... they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team." MIAMI (Reuters) - Miami police could soon be the first in the United States to use cutting-edge, spy-in-the-sky technology to beef up their fight against crime.

A small pilotless drone manufactured by Honeywell International, capable of hovering and "staring" using electro-optic or infrared sensors, is expected to make its debut soon in the skies over the Florida Everglades.

If use of the drone wins Federal Aviation Administration approval after tests, the Miami-Dade Police Department will start flying the 14-pound (6.3 kg) drone over urban areas with an eye toward full-fledged employment in crime fighting.

"Our intentions are to use it only in tactical situations as an extra set of eyes," said police department spokesman Juan Villalba.

"We intend to use this to benefit us in carrying out our mission," he added, saying the wingless Honeywell aircraft, which fits into a backpack and is capable of vertical takeoff and landing, seems ideally suited for use by SWAT teams in hostage situations or dealing with "barricaded subjects."

Miami-Dade police are not alone, however.

Taking their lead from the U.S. military, which has used drones in Iraq and Afghanistan for years, law enforcement agencies across the country have voiced a growing interest in using drones for domestic crime-fighting missions.

Known in the aerospace industry as UAVs, for unmanned aerial vehicles, drones have been under development for decades in the United States. Continued...

What a GIANT Surprise

Not since Craig Vs. D-Bo have we witnessed a bigger upset as the entire sports world did tonight, standing off their chairs watching The New York Giants triumph over the undefeated New England Patriots, claiming the title of Super Bowl champions.

With critics and media ousting them all season, Super Bowl XLII seemed to be no different for The New York Giants as they headed into the N.F.L. Championship facing a dominating team that was 18-0 and whom where eagerly looking to get their hands on the coveted Lombardi trophy, securing their 19th straight win. With goliath like odds of mammoth proportions stacked against them, Eli and his boys entered into tonights Championship game cooler than a blowjob from a penguin.

Able to hold the Patriots within four going into the 4th, Eli's talent and poise were truely tested and on display. With fantastic defense and some great drives on offense, the G-Men showed New England they weren't about to hand over a victory as Eli connected with David Tryee to lead the game 10-7.

Unable to put points on the board and less than five minutes to play, New England looked to score big and did just that with Tom Brady hooking up with Randy Moss for a 6 yd T.D. pass putting the Pats up 14-10

With what seemed like the weight of all of New York on Eli's shoulders, number 10 walked to his huddle with less than 3 minutes to play. Leading his team up field with amazing 3rd down after 3rd down, Eli looked more like his brother Peyton rather then the QB the critics have long doomed to fail. With the clock winding down and and only 35 seconds left, a resilent New York squad led by Eli Manning stormed into New Englands 20 and with a beautiful 13 yard touchdown completion to Plaxico Burress they sealed their victory as Super Bowl XLII champions.

A remarkable beam of light has now shined on Eli Manning as the shadow of his brother and former Super Bowl MVP champ seems to be lifted for now. The Giants quarteback was awarded the honor of being named this years Super Bowl MVP. No doubt New Yorkers now have another reason to stand up and bump some more Sinatra. Congratulations NY!!

Marijuana vending machines in US

Vending machines distributing the drug marijuana are to begin operating in the US state of California.

Like Most people in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me.? I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping
people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ASS, getting high, while I work. . . Can you imagine how much money the country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Tolerable. I’ve been more uncomfortable on windy days in the 30’s. Shit, I’m outside righting this write now. Krust, the one-eyed cat is sniffin and rubbin all up on me as I write and try to keep my cigarette from putting his other eye out. He found the cat-door at my house and moved in on Xmas eve. He hasn’t left yet and hasn’t been paying rent and eats all the food, so it’d be nice if I could find his real owner. Then he sings, as if on cue, “The tears stream down your face when you lose something you can not replace…” Squarepusher’s Iambic9 Poetry brings me back to the present and the aforementioned topic. The Rat has passed me a microphone and invited me to be one of the voices of the soon to eat the world Crushed Linen Corporation. Perhaps an ingenious bit of thinking on his part, perhaps not. We shall wait. We shall see. Nevertheless, The Original Stranger sent on a mission to touch the masses. A journey that may possibly enlighten some, intrigue a few and probably confuse a great handful that stumble unwittingly into the path of the poisoned pen. So much to contribute, so much to share with the populace. Best get started then. The time has come to shed some light. Not too much. Just some. Start spreading the gospel of Lurkology. Teach the children about Lurkophelia and the Crevice Art movement along with its origins. Discuss exemplary examples of crevice artists; musicians, writers, painters, skateboarders and other great thinkers throughout history that find themselves snuggled at home in that genre, find themselves at home in that way of life. Together we can start the world’s first Lurxionary, or glossary of terms used heavily by lurkers and crevice artists the world over. Simply magnificent indeed. Not certain what words will pour from my brains and onto your screens in the future as of the present, but so long as I remain free of the shackles of censorship and my words are read, I will continue to write them. Possibilities are without limit indeed. I’m honored, having been given the opportunity to contribute anything to an organization of such extraordinary magnitude as Crushed Linen Clothing. Closing on a bit of a stranger note, leaving you with a tidbit. A tiny, infinitesimal morsel of my cerebellum to taste. To either savor genuinely or spit out in utter disgust, until the next time. “Ode to the Booger Scab”

I have one of those excruciating and wonderful booger-scabs. You know, those fleshy little tidbits that hurt so dreadfully, yet are so darn amusing for the picker to pick. At times, you just can’t wait long enough for them to be restored to health. Yet when the time comes that they finally do heal, you miss them ever so fiendishly and envision the day. The day you will, at long last, be finally blessed with a fresh, unsullied and brand spanking new booger scab to extract. Oh, booger scab! Its been, to a certain extent, a pleasurable week together, but I’m troubled by the notion that if we carry on with this relationship, one of us is certainly going to get injured. We must stop. Discontinue. Bring this to a halt at once. Not look back. Not now, not ever. Before it gets too late. Before…before…before one of us gets infected. It will be arduous I know. Oh, I know, I’ll miss you too. Miss you ever so dearly. But have faith, when have I ever steered you wrong? Trust me, its what’s best for the both of us. Or maybe just for me I thought. Oh sweet, syrupy, delightful yellow, crusty reddish booger scab, just let go. Give your heart a chance to grow. It’s a shame for us to part, yet I’m certain our paths will eventually cross again and we will, once again enjoy a week or three of pick and flick and bleed. That’s the crevice indeed.
